F-ZERO 【…そしてスピードの神へ】(F-ZERO 【...soshite speed no kami e】, roughly translated to "And then, to the Gods of Speed") is an F-Zero light novel written by Katsuyuki Ozaki, and illustrated by Kagami Yasuhiro. The novel was released on February 5th, 1992 and was published in the Futabasha Fantasy Novel Series.[1]

It consists of over 200 pages and 6 chapters.

The novel presents an original and darker take on the F-Zero series, and is considered as a third F-Zero universe. Due to it being only printed in Japanese, not much is known about the novel by the English speaking side of the F-Zero community. Translation efforts were said to be underway, albeit unofficially, but no real breakthroughs have been recorded yet.

Trivia

  • It was widely believed that the person illustrated on the cover on the novel was a woman, but this is actually due to odd placement of the shoulders, which may have given the appearance of breasts.
    • This character may be Swan Lee, the protagonist of the novel who may take up the role as the Novel Captain Falcon's possible successor.
