F-Zero GP Legend is a futuristic racing game released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Suzak Inc. and published by Nintendo.

The game was released on November 28, 2003 in Japan, but was also released in North America and Europe (September 20, 2004 and June 4, 2004 respectively).

Though it is not the last game in the entire series, it was the last game to be released outside of Japan, as F-Zero Climax (the actual final game in the series to be released) would never see a worldwide release.

Story Mode

Although the game is based on the anime of the same name, the game was released only 8 episodes into the anime's original airtime,[1] resulting in a Story Mode that does not follow the events of the anime.

The Story Mode, available for Ryu Suzaku, Captain Falcon, Jody Summer, Jack Levin, Samurai Goroh, Lisa Brilliant, Zoda, and Black Shadow, consists of different paths for each character and borrows few elements of the anime. At times, there are numerous contradictions with developments from the anime, thus the Story Mode is not to be considered canon for the Anime Universe.
